ACSC is a popular and thriving school that sits at the heart of the community, enjoying an excellent reputation locally and across Lancashire. Our school is mourning the sudden loss of our examinations officer and as a result we are seeking to appoint a permanent replacement for her.    We require a hardworking, reliable, and motivated candidate who has a genuine desire to work in a busy school with the ability to multi-task.

We are looking for an exams officer with experience of running internal and external examinations and all that entails. They should also have excellent interpersonal skills and high expectations of student’s achievement and behaviour. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and dynamic as this is a highly varied and sometimes pressured role.   Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this post.

The post is full time, term time only plus one week.  4 days in August for results download and appeals etc. Plus, the 1st day of the Autumn Term

The successful candidate will have to have a flexible approach to working to meet the needs of the school.  The start and finish time are 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30 on a Friday.  Lunch is 30 minutes each day.  We do not operate a flexi time system.

Should you choose to apply then please ensure that the enclosed Lancashire County Council application form is completed fully, a CV is not required.

ACSC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  The successful applicant will be required to provide a disclosure from Disclosure Barring Service before any appointment is confirmed. On-line checks will be carried out on shortlisted applicants.
