Preparing for Science at Ashton

To help prepare your child for science at Ashton, the science department have put together some activities that your children can complete during the summer break. By completing these tasks, your child will start secondary school with many of the key skills needed to be successful in science. These working scientifically skills include recognising scientific apparatus, identifying hazards, setting up investigations, observing and measuring, recording data, interpreting and communicating results and evaluating evidence. We hope your child enjoys completing the different tasks and we would love to see their work in September.
